Martin Luther King, Jr. is one of the most influential people to grace this Earth. On October 14th, 1929 Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Reverend Martin Luther King Sr. who was a pastor at Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church and Alberta Williams who was a teacher at Booker T. Washington High School for Negroes. After graduating from high school he earned his Bachelor's degree from Morehouse College and his doctorate degree from the Theological Seminary. Later on in 1954 he married Coretta Scott with whom he had 4 children: Yolanda Denise King; Martin Luther King III; Dexter Scott King and Bernice Albertine King. Every year many people honor him as a great man who fought for equal rights not just for African Americans but also other minority groups such as Native Americans, immigrants, women and the disabled people.
